2024 Governor's International Breakfast
Hosted by the World Affairs Council of Maine and the Maine International Trade Center
The Future of Work in Maine is Global
Mainers are working with the world! Increasingly, jobs in Maine are being created by trade or with multi-national companies, and involve colleagues and co-workers from around the world. This year’s Governor’s International Breakfast will celebrate the contributions of these globally connected firms and the value of a diverse, multinational, and multi-lingual workforce. In addition to the Governor’s remarks, the breakfast will include a panel of civic and business leaders.

The Governor's International Breakfast began in 1997 with the inauguration of the Maine International Trade Center (MITC) and has since become a regular opportunity to highlight the value of Maine’s global connections. Past themes include partnerships for export, foreign investment, trade with China, energy security, and Maine's climate leadership. The Governor’s International Breakfast is a nonpartisan event; Governor King, Governor Baldacci, and Governor LePage continued this annual tradition. This will be Governor Mills third address.
