The Phantom returns to haunt Mayo Street Arts this October in honor of the musical’s 40th anniversary!
Tophat Productions’ miniature stage production of The Phantom of the Opera will be performed two evenings, just in time for the spooky season! Two classically-trained opera singers, David Worobec and Bethany Perkins, along with a toy cast of action figures and a miniature stage. Don’t miss your chance to see this Andrew Lloyd Webber musical as you have never seen it before!
Set in the 19th century at the Paris Opera House, this iconic and dark romance follows a disfigured, murderous musical genius who lives beneath the cellars of the opera house and terrorizes the opera staff with his unhinged demands, or else disaster will follow. He secretly tutors a chorus girl named Christine, helping her voice reach new heights. But when Christine’s childhood sweetheart, Raoul enters the picture, it sets up a dangerous love triangle.
