    Catalyst Award

    Presented to Portland Hearts of Pine for their powerful drive for progress in the Portland region, using soccer to build connection, pride, and social impact. Through inclusive programs and local partnerships, they create welcoming spaces for people of all backgrounds, while empowering youth through mentorship and leadership opportunities. Their commitment to equity and outreach extends beyond the pitch, inspiring lasting change in the Portland community.

     

    Collaborator Award

    Presented to Heather Johnson for her outstanding leadership in uniting the region’s community around shared goals. As former Commissioner of the Maine Department of Economic and Community Development, she bridged public, private, and community sectors to expand broadband access and boost economic development. Her collaborative approach has strengthened partnerships, aligned resources, and driven meaningful, lasting impact across Maine.

     

    Volunteer of the Year

    Presented to Nate Henry for his outstanding dedication to community service and his ability to inspire others through action. Beyond his role as President of PROPEL, he has championed local causes and organized impactful events that support the Portland region. His volunteer work reflects a deep commitment to uplifting underserved populations, giving back, and building community.
