EMDC's Maine APEX (formerly Maine PTAC)

Federal, state, and local governments buy just about every service and product imaginable. We assist businesses that are selling to, or have potential to sell to governments. Maine APEX (formerly Maine PTAC) is one of the programs at Eastern Maine Development Corporation. This APEX Accelerator is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense. There are no fees for our services.

Our Counselors work one-on-one with businesses to find, win and perform-on government contracts, either as a prime or sub-contractor. We:

• Help you position your business to succeed in the government marketplace
• Make sure you obtain certifications and are registered in the necessary databases
• Identify which government offices and prime contractors buy your services or products
• Sign you up to be notified – on a daily basis – of bid requests for your services or products
• Provide training, and networking events to connect you with buying officers and prime contractors
• Assist with requirements: 1) to prepare and submit bids, and 2) for successful performance

Our services assist with municipal, county, state and federal government opportunities locally or nationwide as either a prime or subcontractor.
