The Resurgam Festival is held along the Portland Waterfront next to the Downtown, spanning an area of approximately two and a half blocks. The event site is connected by the Eastern Promenade Trail bike paths, with the Narrow Gauge Railroad tracks and train, demarcating the space from street traffic. Positioned at the west end of the site are the Visit Portland Information Center and Moontide Garden Park, complemented by a pier leading to the Ocean Gateway Terminal building. Outdoor performance stages are situated behind the Information Center and in the expansive queuing lanes adjacent to it. An indoor stage graces the Ocean Gateway Terminal, while inside the Information Center is an activity area for very young festival attendees. There is an outdoor stage at Amethyst Park.

The Maine Academy of Modern Music (MAMM) presents the annual Resurgam Music and Arts Festival, presented by OTTO, on the second Sunday of June. MAMM partners with the City of Portland, community arts organizations, and local businesses to offer this one-day music and arts festival at Ocean Gateway Park. The event is FREE and open to the public!

This community-focused festival showcases a diverse lineup of performers across multiple event stages, integrates local arts organization activities, accommodates area merchants, and includes craft vendors, food trucks, and more. Resurgam is a vibrant testament to Portland's creative community coming together to create an inclusive space where individuals of all backgrounds and ages actively engage with the arts. The festival offers performances from established Maine musicians and is also a platform for emerging talents, including the young artists from MAMM, thereby supporting the next generation of Maine music makers.
