There’s a lot of interesting developments coming to the benefits world. Where we are starting annual open enrollment season, it will be very relevant to inform small and midsize businesses (less than 50 employees) about these development and all of the options for addressing employees health care needs. From traditional health plans to medical sharing programs, level funding, MEC (minimum essential coverage) plans, supplemental programs, ICHRA, QSEHRA and more, I will highlight the benefits and cautions associated with each. I’ll also explain some successful creative cost containment strategies.
