The COVID-19 pandemic had an outsized impact on the workforce, creating remote environments, the closure of entire industries, and the difficult choice of many to leave their jobs altogether. These impacts were especially felt by communities of color and women.
As office life returns for many, how do employers and leaders ensure they are building back equitable and inclusive work environments for their teams? How do companies ensure people have the resources needed to balance their lives and how do managers support their teams have the support needed to return? How do leaders make these decisions if they are the first (first female CEO, first woman of color hired, first in family to attend college) in a position of power?
This session will explore how leaders from JPMorgan Chase and Bernstein Shur are navigating the workplace and helping their employees feel welcome, included, and valued given the complexities of the new working world.
