Second Chances that Work
Anna Eleanor Roosevelt is President and CEO of Goodwill Industries of Northern New England. On December 3, she will discuss the importance of creating second chances for people in our community and the role employers can play in ensuring that everyone who wants to work, can work. Roosevelt will also share insights into the integrated sustainability of economic, social and environmental considerations that can create triple bottom line results.
Anna Eleanor Roosevelt's belief in the dignity of all work was shaped by the values of her grandparents, President Franklin D. Roosevelt and First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt.
Founded in Boston in 1902, Goodwill's mission has been to create opportunity and jobs for people who most need a chance.
