Still hasn't learned not to park in no parking areas. Are y'all slow or willingly choosing not to follow the law

Elijah,
Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention. I will send you a private message to discuss this further. We take the responsibility of community stewardship very seriously and are viewing this as an opportunity to improve communications within our growing team.
Hay RunnerDec 20, 2022Previous reviewBesides the parking In disability parking continuously after multiple warning. Your (what I am assuming is your husband (Shannon) in a white Yukon about hit both my car and my mom as he ILLEGALLY drove fully onto the sidewalk to pull up next to the window, then proceeded to pull forward and back while honking, all on video. Then when his 2 kids ran towards the vehicle, he about hit them too. Since this seems to be a problem with y'all giving an ounce of care for our neighborhood, I will be lodging a formal complaint with the police regarding your company. Over the last 3 months, I've called over 12 times regarding your trucks illegally parking in both non parking spots, as well as in disability parking. I've had your trucks all but towed, then to have this happen. This is the final straw. If your company wants to wage a war on the people who live here, you got it.
Jul 27, 2022Previous reviewFirst pic was at 8:30 AM, second is at 4:58 PM. There are over 45 people who live in this neighborhood of a few blocks you have to circle and struggle to find parking to be able to go home. And we are all expected to legally park, even if it means we have to walk 2 blocks to get home after a 13 hour day of grueling work. But yet day, after day, after day, you illegally park, or park all day with no permits or anything. Taking what limited parking we have away from us who live here, including people like me who have a mobility aid and have to call you almost weekly to ask you to move the truck from blocking the wheelchair ramp to my building. Every time, either I have to leave an unanswered voicemail, or your team talks to me like I am the problem when I call because I'm stuck in 91 degree heat not able to get my wheelchair up the ramp. Disgusting ethics. Disregard for people who live here. Don't support this ableist business who think they are entitled to parking close by when we have to struggle. (And don't hit me with "they only park to load and unload. Every time your trucks sit for hours.)

Will never work with Hay Runner again. We cut ties when our remodel project was halfway done but already over the estimate they'd gave us, and with no end in sight. Subs were good folks but management was poor, erratic, and aggressive.

Months ago, I contacted a few different companies about a window leak. Communication seemed a bit weird from the start, but Hay Runner replied asking for photos and details about the type/brand of window, which I gave them to the best of my abilities. They informed me they would research the model and get back to me when they found out more information.
A month or two went by and I hadn't heard back from them, but there was never a bad storm either so I kind of let it go. When the window leaked again after a couple of bad storms, I emailed them once more asking if they had any more information or planned to come out to look at the window. They didn't respond. I contacted a different company and they set me up with an appointment almost right away. A handyman came out and troubleshot the problem and fixed the issue.
Not sure what happened with Hay Runner, but they seemed to have just dropped off the face.Helpful 4Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 2 - Anthony L.Portland, ME06Jan 21, 2023
I'm a DYI guy. I have all the tools and most of the skill and handy friends to do just about anything.
We had a leak in our condo from the bathroom upstairs. It was an insurance job and the owners upstairs brought in Hay Runner.
They showed up when they said they would. They were all professional and did what they said they would do and the repair was of the quality I would have done. We are redoing our bathroom and are considering using them for the job. I'm 63 and retired and would be happy not to do the work since it seems like we have found a professional reliable group that can. My wife is meeting with their designers. So far a great experience and would highly recommend Hay Runner.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Paul T.Hanover, ME0142Jan 12, 2022
I attempted to get Hay Runner to look at a job for an apartment building I own. They were reaponsive but they wanted a fee to provide a quote. They would not waive the fee no matter what. This quote would have led to thousands of dollars in work needed. It was not difficult work either. I have attempted to get contractors to do work for me in the past and have had several positive responses but when the time came they fell off the face of the earth! I am so easy to deal with and pay on time. I have never heard of a professional company asking for money to just look at a job. Beware!

Found these guys through the request a quote function looking to get one of my lazy susan's in my kitchen fixed as it was no longer spinning properly. I had a response within an hour....Wow! And despite the unusual nature of the job they said they could fix it no problem while others turned down the project. When Scott arrived this morning to fix the cabinet he was on time, professional and courteous. He made sure to wear his mask the entire time, he communicated what he was doing, giving me two options of ways he could fix the cabinet. He was mindful of which option would be longer and more expensive. I'm very appreciative of Hay Runners and will be using them again in the future for any home improvement projects. I highly recommend them to anyone else as well! Thank you Hay Runners my lazy Susan finally swivels again the way it should!!

I needed two bookcase shelves. Sent photos, measurements, and approved invoice. That was at least four months ago. Kept promising me the shelves. Got nothing but paid nothing thankfully.
